TOURING RECORD

For getting out of the city

We left rental shop at 10:20.

First 40 min, We have to be patient for driving through a little congested in the urban area.

As We close to the sea, scenery has completely changed from urban view to magnificent

landscape.

after Imazu Athlete Park, I felt like a riding in a resort area.

SHIMA SUNSET ROAD

“SHIMA SUNSET ROAD” popular among riders started from NISHIURA.

I encountered famous Photo Spot.

There is a PINK DOOR(Anywhere door in DORAEMON) facing to the sea.

“Sakurai Futamigaura”, one of the representative scenic spots in Itoshima City.

It has long been regarded as a sacred place as the shrine site of Sakurai Shrine
(Nationally Designated Important Cultural Property).

The couple rock of the sacred body floating about 150 meters off the coast, and the rock on the right (male rock) is 11.8 m high, and the rock on the left (female rock) is 11.2 m high.

KEYA NO OOTO

Itoshima’s scenic spot “Keya no Daimon”.

This strange rock has a cave with a height of 64 meters and a depth of 90 meters from the sea, but you can only see it from a pleasure boat.

15 minutes to run from Keya no Daimon.

There is a “Mataichi Salt Factory” in the back of the peninsula.

Today’s lunch is at the restaurant “Harereya”.

It’s popular and small restaurant, so It’s always full even though it’s a weekday.

I waited about 15 minutes.

NIJI NO MATSUBARA

Take National Route 202 to Fukuoka　

The old road (Karatsu Kaido) is always heavy traffic because it runs through Itoshima city center and it has only one lane.

Go through Uminonakamichi to Shikaumi Shrine

Cross the middle road of the sea to Shikaumi Shrine.

　Umi no Nakamichi is also perfect for touring.

Shikanoshima, which shines in the sunset at dusk, was very beautiful.

I can’t visit because I don’t have time.

I hope to visit, if I have a chance to come again.

From Shigaumi Shrine to Rental 819 Hakata

The time to return the motorcycle is approaching.

I hurried home and went straight back to the motorcycle shop.

There are many touring courses in Kyushu including Aso, but this touring course in Fukuoka is also a recommended course that is not inferior to others.

If you drive 40 minutes from the city, it is a scenic spot full of nature.

In addition to food and sightseeing in the city, if you have a day, I surely recommend to go for motorbike touring.
